Dear Elko,
Recently I replaced my roof with a new roof and the contractor misplaced all of the clips to the GuttaGard panels that my late husband installed in 1987. The contractor was nearly speechless when he told me that after more than 17 years, the gutters were still clean and free of pine needles and leaves. He was also impressed with the new Gutter Genius clips you sent me to reinstall the old GuttaGard panels. He reinstalled almost 180 feet of panels in less than 45 minutes with the new clip.
I'm 78 years old, and I can tell you stories about my friends who paid dearly for their gutter covers. I'm telling all of them about GuttaGard now! I believe my contractor is now installing GuttaGard all over the neighborhood.

Dear Elko,
I am a professional gutter installer and a recent convert to your Elko GuttaGard. I've installed various different gutter protection products ranging from vinyl gutter covers to newer metal filters (sheet aluminum with holes) to expensive solid metal covers advertised [on national AM talk radio]. My distributor told me about GuttaGard, and I'm recommending it not only to my customers but to my fellow gutter installers as well.
There are three key benefits that I see with GuttaGard:
1) It installs faster than any other solid metal product.
2) It is very, very low profile.
3) It works . . . better than all of the competitor covers, even the expensive ones.
I can install GuttaGard for a lower price because I can be on and off the job in half the time of competitive products. That's good for my customers. I generally install only black because the panels can't be seen from the ground, so my inventory is simple. And most importantly, even though it's only a 1/8" gap or so, the volume of water GuttaGard takes is amazing, and the debris stays out!
Your product is less expensive than the vinyl product by half, but it outperforms and outlasts it. I only wish I had found your product 10 years ago.

Dear Elko,
Thanks for sending me the 300' of Elko GuttaGard for my home. I hired a handyman and had the job done in about 2 hours for less than 10% of what my "good friend" the weatherman wanted for the expensive brand. As you know, I liked the product so much I'm selling my neighbors all across my retirement community on installing GuttaGard as well.
I don't get excited about many products at 80 years old, but your product is a home run! I wish you success in getting the message out.

I wanted to personally thank you for your high quality
Elko GuttaGard product! I initially ordered enough
to do about half of my home, but I just reordered
enough to finish the rest of the home. After conducting
a significant amount of product research, I selected
Elko GuttaGard because of: 1) price; 2) quality (solid
aluminum rather than vinyl); 3) the ability to keep
leaves and debris out of my gutter; 4) color choice;
and 5) ease of installation.
In fact, it was so easy that my sixteen year old
son got up and down on the ladder a few times and
had the GuttaGard installed in minutes! Your product
has helped us immensely this year, since my knees
don't make it easy to climb up and down the ladder
to clean the gutters two or three times a year. Because
of the big trees in the back yard, leaves last year
had piled up in out gutters and in our downspouts,
clogging the system completely. This year . . . no
problem with leaves at all! And all thanks to your

As a business manager for a government contracting
agency, I did my research thoroughly. I reviewed
both collection systems and deflection systems costing
literally hundreds to thousands more than your product.
Many of them had very misleading claims and warranties,
and most of them wouldn't have kept the gutters free

Dear Elko,
As Maintenance Manager of twenty-five condo units,
I have installed several hundred feet of GuttaGard
shields. Many of our units and their roof exposures
face overhanging eucalyptus trees and some large
pine trees which constantly shed leaves, needles,
cones, and seed pods. The roofs are not easily
accessible, and I found keeping the gutters clean
and free-flowing very demanding. I tried several
screen-type guards on the gutters and downspouts,
but they quickly trapped and filled debris from
trees and made matters worse rather than better.
The GuttaGards quickly shed all unwanted debris
yet in no way obstruct even the heaviest of water/rain
runoff. I have not had to clean a single gutter
since the installation of GuttaGards and endorse
their use with much enthusiasm.

Two years ago I called "Helmet
Gard" to find out what it would cost to put
their product on my roof, and they quoted me a price
of $2,000 for approximately 120 feet of gutter. I
went to a nearby hardware store and asked what they
would recommend, and they highly recommended the

a result, I have had GuttaGard on the roof of my
